Menu Plan Monday | Week of Sept 27

I needed a firm but gentle kick in the behind last week and I got it. I have been on my weight loss journey for 15 months now and while I have had great success, sometimes I feel like it will never end. (Just like how I feel about debt. Notice a pattern here? "I want it and I want it now!" seems to be my battle cry lately.)

A friend pointed out that I am making a lifestyle change, and it something I will do for the rest of my life. She is so right.

One of the things I have heard at Weight Watchers is "Don't do anything to lose weight that you are not willing to do for the rest of your life." (Without turning this n to a WW commercial...) That is one of the things I love about Weight Watchers. I can still eat real food and am learning such foreign concepts as portion control and eating till satisfaction. Who knew such things existed?

Ok. On to the plan.

All meals are served with a spring mix salad and whatever type of fruit sounds good that day.

Monday: Sirloin and Feta Cheese stuffed potatoes

Tuesday: Noodles & Chicken in Basil Mint Dressing

Wednesday: Paella

Thursday: Clean out refrigerator dinner and steak (If what is left will work as a soup or casserole, I will make one. If not, I will grill steak and we will have the leftovers as side dishes.)

Friday: Bruschetta Chicken Pasta with a balsamic reduction (I will make the sauce using the tomatoes I saved last week.)

Saturday: Sweet and Sour Shrimp Tacos

Sunday: Jamaican Black beans and rice
